Recycled Paperboard Technical Association's Production-Technical (RPTA P-T) Seminar
Submittal deadline was November 11, 2022. We are no longer accepting abstracts.
This track is primarily intended for an audience of mill operations personnel from mills that manufacture high-recycle content containerboard and paperboard. Our seminar being one of the tracks of the broader TAPPICon event, we also attract participants from other pulp and paper markets.
Based on input from RPTA’s 50+ member mills, the track will include four sessions on issues of interest to mill operating personnel:
- Wet end improvements
- Fiber recovery optimization, including dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems
- Best practices for process data, including collection, storage, and use
- Safer operations: dryers through calendar stacks
Other relevant submissions beyond these subjects will also be considered. No manuscript is required for RPTA Presentations.
Our audience is most interested in actual applications, so RPTA asks suppliers and consultants to consider including a co-presenter from a mill where the subject equipment or process improvement has been implemented. If not possible, please share actual mill case studies.
